This painting is so appropriate for me to do right at Father’s Day.

Popcorn has always been a love language for me. I love making it for those who are most special in my world.

I remember sitting with the kids in my lap savoring that warm goodness. Taking a bowl to my wife as she winds down at the end of day. And still today, when we are all together playing games, it is made better with the comfort of that “warm, salty snack”.

I do love the taste of it, but it’s more about the feeling.

I love that God hands us down certain gifts that are purely for our enjoyment. And those gifts turn into some of the sweeter times of life.
